Prana, Chi and Ki are three ancient terms from different cultures to describe the same subtle life force that flows through all living things.

Though the names differ, all three express a universal understanding:

"Life is sustained not only by the physical, but by an invisible, dynamic energy that connects body, mind & spirit"

Understanding the human Aura

The human aura is often described as a subtle, luminous field that surrounds and interpenetrates the body. Across spiritual traditions, it’s considered both a reflection of a person’s state of being and a living interface between the physical and non-physical aspects of self. The aura is said to be composed of subtle vibrations, linked to life force energy (prana, chi, ki). It is seen by some as colours or light surrounding the body. However, many people just sense it as a feeling or atmosphere. There are also descriptions of aura constantly shifting with thoughts, emotions, health and spiritual awareness.

Layers of the Aura

Some traditions describe the aura in layers or

subtle bodies.

Physical/ Etheric Layer

Closest to the body -

vitality & physical health.

Emotional Layer -

Reflects moods, desires

& emotional patterns.

Mental Layer -

Carries thoughts, beliefs

and focus of mind.

Astral/ Heart Layer -

Relationships, love and

connection

Spiritual Layers -

(Casual, Etheric Template,

Celestial, Ketheric)

Connect to intuition,

higher consciousness, and soul purpose.

Some descriptions say that each layer interpenetrates

the next, extending several feet outwards.

Exploring Herbal Remedies.

Exploring herbal remedies is a journey that connects us to ancient traditions and the profound wisdom of nature. For centuries, people have relied on plants to support their health and wellbeing, a practice that forms the

foundation of modern medicine. When we look more closely into the world of herbs, we’re not just looking for quick fixes; we’re seeking to  understand the holistic properties of each plant and how it can contribute to a balanced lifestyle. This process often involves researching  historical uses of different herbs, learning their active compounds and how they can be prepared.

It is important to recognise that while herbs can be beneficial, they are potent and should be used responsibly, especially where they can react with medication you may be taking. The beauty of this practice lies in it’s gentle, supportive nature, offering a complementary path to wellness that can be integrated alongside conventional healthcare.
By embracing the knowledge passed down through generations, we can harness the power of the botanical world to nourish our bodies, calm our minds, and foster a deeper sense of harmony.
